Baby Jogger City Select Stroller & City Select Car Seat
The City Select 2 Stroller, Eco Collection is a versatile stroller that converts from a single stroller to double stroller with the addition of an additional seat or glider board (sold separately). The City Select 2 Stroller, Eco Collection is able to be set up into a triple-travel system with the addition of an infant car seat. It offers 24 configurations and is a top stroller overall. This model is constructed with Baby Jogger's soft, breathable and sustainably sourced TENCEL fabrics. They help regulate the temperature. It features a premium leatherette handlebar and bumper bar, as well as the belly bar. It folds 20% smaller than the leading single-to-double stroller, UPPAbaby Vista V2, and is lighter, too.
It has a moderate-sized shade as well as an e-snap-aboo window that is simple to open and close. The telescoping bar is one of the most easily adjustable and is suitable for parents of any height. The seats recline and have a footwell adjustment button so you can position your child for maximum comfort. The storage bin has plenty of space, but we would have preferred to have a more secure latch. It's easy to access but we found the zippers to be somewhat frustrating as they need to be completely removed and refastened every time you use it.
Like its counterparts, the City Select has single-action brakes that are simple to set and release by the pull of a lever on the side of the frame, lower than the handlebar. It is comfortable for sandals and barefoot and an improvement over the awkward levers for brakes that some competitors use.
This is the only stroller that we have examined that accepts two infant seats. It's a great choice for parents with twins or expecting a baby soon. It can be used to fit the majority of infant car seats from major brands with an adapter. We tested it using the Britax/BOB Chicco KeyFit 30, Graco Click Connect models, Cybex Aton and Aton Q and Nuna Pipa.
The City Select is incompatible with the UPPAbaby Vista V2. It is a great option for families who already have a car seat and want a stroller to accommodate it, but you may be better off with another convertible stroller that can fit an additional car seat for infants in this instance.
